It is an acquired practice with many aspects that can be cultivated through practice and intention. Let’s understand the qualities of a strong executive presence into three types. First, you must determine your level on each level and engage a coach to develop your “Executive Presence”.

Personality: It’s the most visible part of the Executive Presence. It’s what people observe and perceive about you, even or even immediately. It is the impression people make of you based on your appearance, behaviour, mannerisms and appearance. Your personality is displayed through your manner of conduct socially and in interactions with other people and when talking to and in front of groups. Your love for the cause you believe in can be seen in your persona most of the time.

Genuineness: It is the most important thing. No matter how attractive and captivating your persona is when your authentic self does not show, you will have dissonance, and people will see your performance as unprofessional. Your core is what you are that defines you. Your characteristics and beliefs define you. They are exclusive to you in the whole world. This is the base of your persona, and it is only apparent through consistent behaviour. Being able to face the fears you have helps in establishing authenticity. When we face our fears, it is only when we are willing to face ourselves will we eventually uncover who we truly are. Accepting our fears is the way to discovering who we are and communicating it genuinely.”

Substance: It’s the result of “knowing what you are doing” as well as clarity of intention and living by your ideals. If leaders are a person with charisma and style, but not substance, they could be viewed as “empty suits’. Many leaders who have been a constant source of work over the years build up their authority through the substance and quality of work.
